About ECCO
Karl Toosbuy established the Danish company ECCO, which produces shoes and leather accessories, in Bredebro, Denmark, in 1963. In 1982, ECCO set up a shop in Denmark. With 21,300 employees globally and product sales in 101 countries, ECCO is a family-run business.
It leads the world in creating comfortable, stylish shoes for kids, women, and men. Owning its tanneries and shoe manufacturing facilities gives the corporation complete control over the production process and enables strict quality control. ECCO designs start from premium raw materials, and these materials are transformed into timeless shoes and accessories.
